Underwater photography courses - any advice?

Hi everyone,
I've just completed my PADI Advanced Open Water and am looking to go travelling and further my experiences and qualifications in 2010.
My main interest is in underwater photography/videography, but it seems actual opportunites to do this, rather than divemaster courses, are few and far between.

Has anyone done a (paid) underwater course anywhere, or do you think I should just do a divemaster course and fit photography in around it?

I also want to do a bit of travelling whilst/once I've finished my diving, so where would be best to head to - I'm thinking Thailand or Australia?

I look forward to your responses, and if anyone wants to come with me - let me know!

Sorry, can you just clarify what you mean by a 'paid' photography course? You want to be paid for being taught?

why do you want to pay to learn how to use an underwater camera? go into one of the hire shops and they give you a tutorial in under 5 mins??? We used one for the great barrier reef and got amazing photos without having to pay for someone pointing to something for us to photograph

???
