Underwater photography courses - any advice? |

| Hi everyone,
I've just completed my PADI Advanced Open Water and am looking to go travelling and further my experiences and qualifications in 2010. My main interest is in underwater photography/videography, but it seems actual opportunites to do this, rather than divemaster courses, are few and far between. Has anyone done a (paid) underwater course anywhere, or do you think I should just do a divemaster course and fit photography in around it? I also want to do a bit of travelling whilst/once I've finished my diving, so where would be best to head to - I'm thinking Thailand or Australia? I look forward to your responses, and if anyone wants to come with me - let me know! |

| Sorry, can you just clarify what you mean by a 'paid' photography course? You want to be paid for being taught? | |

| why do you want to pay to learn how to use an underwater camera? go into one of the hire shops and they give you a tutorial in under 5 mins??? We used one for the great barrier reef and got amazing photos without having to pay for someone pointing to something for us to photograph
??? |
