Some countries have registries for citizens abroad. Its good incase of some kind of natural disaster or terrorist attack that at least the country would know that you were in the area and might but other people on notice that they are looking for you if something goes wrong.

I know this doesnt apply to everyone but I have one of those new chipped passports so surely that lets the government know where I am in the world?

So if you have one of them you should be okay I reckon x

Inland Revenue. Can't remember which form it is but will dig it out when I get home and let you know. Might be able to get some tax back off them as well as obviously tax is calculated on the basis that you work for 12 months so might get something back for Jan-Apr.

Banks
Student loans company

I think thats my list but will double check when I get home from work as I've printed off all the forms, just need to fill them all out.

Its a P50. I've just seen someone else's post about it.

I could definately do with money back. Found out today I have to pay back work for my course so thats going to take about £450 off me
