Yellow Fever in SE Asia |

| Does anyone know of any areas in SE Asia where Yellow Fever is present? | |

| I was told by my GP and the nomad travel clinic that there was no risk of yellow fever in south east asia. If you are coming from a yellow fever zone like parts of south america and africa, some SE asian countries require you to have a yellow fever cirtificate of vaccine | |

| I thought it was only Africa and South America but saw the travel nurse at the doctors today and she said some areas around cambodian border has a risk of yellow fever... | |

| The government run website www.cdc.gov centre for disease control and prevention says that is is only in africa and south america the FCO also don't mention anything about yellow fever in their health section on cambodia and here is a map from the nhs site indication the yellow fever areas to be limited to africa and south america | |

| Maybe you should follow up with the nurse though. Maybe she knows something everyone else doesn't yet. Its not unheard of for yellow fever to be in other parts of the world. There was a mass out break in the US about 100 years ago so its is worth asking her what she knows | |
