Air Asia flights - cheaper after school hols? |

| I'm looking to book flights to Kuala Lumpar from London for mid September. Flights have gone up a bit and I'm not sure If I should book now before they go up even more or wait until the school holidays are over and see if they go down. Can anyone advise? | |

We booked ours for 23rd Sept for £279 for 2 of us one way. We did book about 8 weeks ago though. Are you fixed on a date? Have a play with them to find the best fare. Most schools will be back by the 7th Sept. |

| They're just like any other airline in that department - i.e. they bump up their fares for peak periods.
But they also tend to increase their fares generally the nearer you get to the date of departure. They do that for a couple of reasons, one being an automatic process that incrementally increases the fares as the seats on a particular flight fill up. It's not uncommon to get wildly different fares (within a defined range in each class of cabin) from one day to the next, simply because one flight has more seats available than another. |
