 Wasted Air Asia Tickets

Hi can anyone help me, I have booked Air asia flights on the 3rd of december this year but im now not going till later next year.

Is there anything I can do with these tickets now?

3rd December London stanstead - Kuala Lumpar

7th December Kuala Lumpar - Perth.

Any advice would be great.

Cant you ask them to change the dates? or have your travel plans changed aswell?

im sure you can change dates and just pay the difference.

I think you can change the dates and pay the extra, however I tried to ring them up to cancel my flights and didnt have much luck! I dont want a refund, just for someone else to be able to have the space on the flight but they didnt understand me very well and told me I couldnt cancel them!

I got a refund on AirAsia tickets when I was in Thailand. They weren't Air Asia X tickets, either.

It was because their website screwed up, though, so I don't know if that was an 'extenuating circumstance' or something.

Hey

Im in exactly the same position as you. Meant to be flying London - KL then KL - Perth on 29th Nov. But due to personal issue can no longer go and have to delay it to April ish time next year.

I booked my flight back in Feb and got a really good deal (£230 quid all in one way) and i was under the impression this was non refundable and non changeable. Im still going to give them a call to check though.

Have you called them yet? Please post the outcome on here and i will too if i get round to it anytime soon!!
