Hello

I am hoping to get booked onto one of the overland tours from Nairobi to Capetown (either with Africa Travel Company, African Trails or Oasis). Think they depart on 1st feb, 2nd feb, 7th feb). I am also thinking of doing 2 weeks on a dolphin conservation (GVI programme) from 9th Jan 09 for 2 weeks.

Was wondering if there were any adventurous gilrs who might fancy joining me for a few months?

I would especially like to know what the Boulevard Hotel is like that you are departing from, as i may need to book into a place in nairobi for a week before my departure if I go with ATC!

Hiya yes of course, I am actually doing a round the world trip but the africa part is the organised part I thought I would book for starters to get me in the swing before I then go on my own. I did quite alot of research on various trips and I suppose at the end of the day, it is down to luck with the people you get in your group. I have done trips with Intrepid before and really wanted a company based in Africa for this trip. If it helps, I spoke to a guy called Andrew Walton who was exceptionally helpful and appeared to have knowledge on many of the different companies who provide these trips - as he resells them and also provided slightly better price that Africa Travel direct. (He is south african himself) Check out africanoverlandtours.com and if you call you will find him exceptionally helpful.
