Hey

I have been looking into and researching the London to Oz overland trip myself sounds awesome a real adventure and such a achievement to accomplish . I begun by looking into the ozbus but questioned the length of the trip seemed a bit too quick . I have since discovered exploratory overland expeditions (EOE) and odyssey overland which both offer longer trips athough costing more than the ozbus . EOE offer a 32 week trip for 6000 although they also have a 16 and 24 week trip at a reduced price . Odyssey overland offer a 26 week trip for 5000 . I have been seriously looking into the EOE trip for a while but im now looking into undertaking a independant trip with no set plan and no time constraints would this be something u would consider yourself .

I am pretty much set on the Trans Africa experience advertised on the home page of this website. About 5 grand with kitty for a 9 1/2 month overland Gibralta to Captown and back trip sounds more appealing although it will tally up when they recommend a £120-£140 a week budget on top.... even though accomodation (tents) and food is included. So best part of 10 grand, looks like I will be saving hard for a year :p
