Oasis Overland |

| Hi
I am looking at doing one of the Oasis overland trips from Capetown to Nairobi early 2010 and I am wondering if anyone has used Oasis Overland recently and has any feedback? So far I have only heard good things, and they are pretty cheap! |

| I used Oasis in Oct '07 Harare to Cape Town and would highly reccomend them. No matter what some travel snobs may say the comraderie and close bonds from group truck travel is bloody brilliant. In fact i'm off again in a couple of weeks to use them again to cross the Middle East. I have a friend who's about to go on his 4th trip with them which says something (I know many people who are repeat customers which is great because of the 5 then 10% discounts)
So yeah, do it. |

| My mate used them all the way from Morocco to Cape Town and was very happy with them. He then decided to go his own way and travelled with a couple of others off the truck back up the east coast to Egypt. He said it's definitely possible to find your own way but takes a lot of patience. Overland trucking is normally great fun and an easy way to travel, but you do end up having to go wherever and whenever they go. | |
