Hi

All I'm looking into working in a summer camp then go onto travel around America for a while.

CCUSA seems a good way to do this as I can teach art and design and get paid so I can save a little to pay for the travel after, however I will be 25 in August is this too old? what is the average age of councilors at CCUSA?

Ive started the application process but I think CCUSA only takes on Students which I am not as I graduated in 2007 is this right?
! I have looked into Camp America and they are ok with taking a non student but are a little more expensive!

Ive decided to go with Camp America purely on the fact, that they seemed quicker in getting back to me and friendlier.

Ive paid my first installment put the awful activity pics and profile pic up just waiting for my references to get back to me and my interview date.

How long is normal to wait for a interview and after that when will I get placed? I have found one camp that looks great it had a amazing Graphics programme fingerscrossed I will be placed there!

Also I am still a little worried that I may be too old, I know 24 isnt old and I dnt look out (well I hope not) but in the back of my mind I keep thinking I will feel abit left out coz most people will be much younger.

Hi I went last year at 25 and had no problem, I think the average age of CCUSA employees is quite young but the camp I was at had a huge range of ages and I didn't feel too old once!
