Anyone doing the Great Baikal Trail (GBT) this summer for two weeks in Sibe |

| I've found a really great volunteering opportunity in Siberia, helping to build the Great Baikal Trail which surrounds the beautiful Lake Baikal.
I want to do the "Stars of Balan-Tamur" one which is from August 27th - September 9th 2009. I'll be on the trans-siberian rail from Moscow to Ulan-ude i think? I'm just in the motions of applying, they've accepted my application and i'm just sorting out a VISA and things now. It seems like a great opportunity to really see an amazing part of Siberia a well as helping build something that people can enjoy from generation to generation! It's only around £200 for the 2 weeks! You spend your free time around the camp fire with your new friends, exploring the nature reserves, museums and so on! It would be great to meet someone to come with me, as it'd get a tad lonely on the 4 day train ride from Moscow!!
