Hiya

As long as the ATM have the cirrus logo you will NOT be charged for withdrawing with a cash card account.

Nationwide Debits charged 0.84%.

You withdraw from which ever account has the money you wish to withdraw from, you need to put your money into the right one you want to be using - i wouldnt have thought check though?

I got similar options on the ATM in America with my HBOS card and i just selected any old one to be honest. it didn't seem to make much diffrence. I assumed it was just a function that applied if you had an American bank card.

I always press cheque and that works fine. I've pressed credit a few times in the past too, and that's always worked. To be honest, I think I've pressed savings too and it's also worked.

Either way, it'll only ever withdraw from your current account. It will never withdraw from your Nationwide savings account. It's just a terminology issue. Cheque accounts are current accounts, generally speaking. If it doesn't work when you press one of the options, just cancel the transaction and try again using another option. That's what I do. When I'm drunk.

Thanks for the response guys. Nationwide sent me a message telling me to select the credit account option but as i've got a debit card, i just wanted to check with people who have used the card in Oz before..i thought maybe Nationwide were trying to earn a few more pennies off me with bank charges as i thought pressing the credit account option meant i would be charged more! I'll go with pressing credit account and see how i go! Cheers
