My choice is nationwide you need to apply for one/both very soon if your going in 4 weeks. i think £1000 can be done depending on what you do x

Hellooo. I'm hoping to take £4000 to last me 6 months somehow i'm beginning to have doubts whether i'll have enough- i think you will

I've applied for the Caxton fx card- haven't topped any moeny up yet- seems to work great abroad but will charge you in this country- think everyone will have their own opinion but at the end of the day they all will do the same job.

Hope you have a great time- me and my friend are set to leave on the !st December- 6 weeks Tuesday and counting- nerves are beginning to kick in i have to say

Hey!! Im so jealous i leave 3 months today

Your best cards to take with you are a nationwide cash card or debit card - since you havent got a nationwide card youll only be given a cash card to start with this is fine, you get free cashwithdrawls - thats all you can do with the cash card though - so no use for booking hostels/flights.

Get yourself a Caxton Global Traveller card - good exchange rate, easy to top up via online/phone/sms, and you use it just like a debit card. dont put all your cash on it though incase you lose it always have a back up card with you.

try take a credit card too for emergencies the best ones nationwide cc, post office cc or the zantander zero card.

£3K should be about enough depends where you are and what you want to do roughly to live comfortable on the east coast your looking at £1K o £1,250K

x
