 ING direct savings account.....

hey guys,
i dont know (or understand) much about banks, but i thought this sounds good so i should share it...!
my dad has just advised me to open a 'savings account' with ING direct, as for new customers they're offering 3.2% interest for the first 12 months...
i currently have:
-nationwide flex (so my everyday debit account)
-nationwide instant acess ISA (tax free £3.6k isa account)

as this ING one is PURELY a savings account, i can keep both my current bank account and ISA and now open this ING one as somewhere to put the rest of my RTW savings and earn money on it...the link below explains it:

http://www.ingdirect.co.uk/savings/variable_rate/default.asp

the link below is a calulcator on their site so if you know what you're likely to put in each month, you can calculate what intrest you'll get over the year:

http://www.ingdirect.co.uk/savings/variable_rate/calculate.asp

for me, over the year i'll get £230 if i invest £2000 opening it and £950 a month...
for most people it'll get you between £150-300 interest i would assume...for the sake of ten minutes online i'll be opening one in the next week as that interest will pay for a good chunk of malaysia for me!

OH AND ALSO...i'll be swapping my ISA from nationwide (as they're paying only 0.5% interest) to a Natwest one on dads advise too...as they're currently giving you 2% tax free...so if i fill my ISA to the max i should get another £60-80 interest i think...not bad!

sorry its long winded, but though other people might like to try this, every little helps right now!
