Hi nandy. This was something I was interested in a while back. Unfortunately getting a job in the states isn't as easy as it is in say Oz. From what I researched a while back you have to have a job lined up and a perminant place of residence while you are there, and u must prove this before applying for a Green Card (something which put me off greatly as I was looking to travel the country). but that's from an English point of view, I fink if u are from Canada or Oz it's easier.
However, the website I was looking at is confussing as #### so u might want to check it yourself incase I misinterperated it. I fink I just googled Green Card USA and it took me to the immigration site.

Hope that helps. Let me no if you find out different as it might rekindle my interest.

Hi
I'm coming to the end of a RTW trip and desperately don't want to return to the UK! I've been researching working in USA but as Kingy283 said, it's so confusing but I'm pretty sure you need to marry an American/have a specific job offer already lined up blah blah blah- or be a full time student to get on a visa 'programme'. Pleeeaaase let me know if you find anything more out!...
Good luck
Nicola xx
