 Hostels - kitchen question!

This may sound like a strange question, but I've never stayed in a hostel before. Do you need to take your own knife, fork and spoon or do the hostel kitchens have cuterley to be used.

Thanks, Joe

For the love of god YES! Take your own. Don't rely on them to supply it for you. Get a set that stick together or a spork set!

Whether they have them or not is not the question it's if they will ever be clean.

I would much rather use my own cutlery than the ones that a hostel would supply!!!

If you're prepared to use the oven/hob in the state that it will invariably be in, then the cutlery should be no problem for you.

I'm sorted in this area.

We can't be arsed washing our cutlery up here. We just use old scratchcards instead. So dirty cutlery will work for me.

If you're funny about cleanliness and who has used them then take some.
I wouldn't bother, they all have them - just might have to clean em!
But so what if there ain't any, that's why god gave us hands!

Get over yourselves.

Worried about who has used cutlery before you? Behave. You don't go and wash the cutlery when you go and sit in a cafe, do you? And I don't hear you complaining about sleeping in a bed which has been slept in by thousands of other strangers - when do you think the last time the mattress was washed?

You're travelling. Deal with it.
