Anyone been to Belarus....? |

| I'm off to Belarus next week to work in an orphanage in Minsk but have evenings and weekends to explore... if ANYONE has been or has any recommendations or tips of nice /interesting places to go, would be great to hear from you! Thanks x | |

| Hey, i was there around 15 months ago but not for very long. Definitely try to get to brest, interesting place because it is right on the border and lots of WWI and II stuff around. The fortress is huge-well recommended. In Minsk all i actually did was go and stand outside the dictator's work-he has a clockwork schedule that I can't remember the details of right now but if you look them up online before you go then it can be quite fun to watch the guy who runs all the madness for a few minutes. Weird tourist attraction but then it isn't the normalest of countries!
and don't be too surprised if you are followed at some point. |
