| If anyone has been, do they have any top tips on a place to stay for a week? Myself and my brother are off there in mid August and have a list of Hostels but insider kowlege is always better.

| Don't stay in Lagos, there are lots of places on the coast that are much better. I've always stayed in Carveiro (or spelt something like that) when I've been down that end of the Algarve. Remember to check out the nightclub on the beach, I actually spent my 18th bday in that place! | |

I stayed there for a week in the Rising Cock hostel, which was absolutely brilliant I can't recommend it enough! Great atmosphere and unlimited crepes every morning 
I think they have a website and are also on facebook if you want more info. |
