Hello all,
So summer 2009 is winding down and i'm hoping anyone that lived/visited/worked in San Sebastian June/July could give me some advice, as well as hear from anyone planning to live and work in San Sebastian in 2010.
I'm hoping to stay in San Sebastian next summer, mid-June through to mid August, and work in either a bar or anything else half-decent. I spent five days in San Sebastian this year, using it as a base to go through to Pamplona for San Fermin which was off the hook, but i left wishing i'd spent more time and did more in San Sebastian! What with the real world job beckoning next August/September, i want to do something special my last "free summer"...
- how easy is it to get work in a bar during June and July in San Sebastian?
- for those who couldn't get bar work, what alternative did you seek/get?
- what did you all do for accomodation? Hostel or flat share, which is better?
- what would you do/not do if you were to go back again next year?
I know that's a lot of questions and half of you are probably still abroad somewhere at the minute, but i like to be prepared!
One last point also, i intend to drive there and see some places in between, so will certainly be happy to share petrol costs with folk. A good taste in music and general hygeine is a must though
