Hi
I'm leaving west germany in a few days and travelling down to italy... that's about all i have planned...
I've been scouring internet for ideas on where to see but i want real experience!!
Def going to Florence, and possibly Siena?? I've heard Cinque Terra is beatiful. Where could i stop in switzerland? And is it easy to get over to Corsica??

As you can see, any advice would be majorly appreciated

I recommend you head South!!

Personally I found Milan and Bologna fantastic places to visit in Italy, Bologna being one of my all time favourite places I've been. But there are a huge number of places you could visit, for the best food I've always found it better to head out of the cities and into the countryside - learning a bit of Italian really will help.

There are plenty of ferries to Corsica from Italy and France, try looking at www.aferry.to for an idea of routes.
