Heathrow-Delhi return, from 21st August-26th September ... can't wait!!!

Is anyone going to be around from 12th September? I'm wanting to go to Varanasi but a bit nervous about doing it completely alone - would be nice to have company!

Hi

If you are heading to North Goa, then avoid Calangute / Baga...its too commercialized...if you want to stay in North Goa then go further up north to Arambol, Ashvem, Morjim....these are lovely beaches..
You can expect to find a guesthouse easily and u shud not pay more than Rs. 500/- to 600/- per day. You might have to bargain a bit. (infact becoz its the rainy season, you can bargain and get the price down to Rs. 300/- easily

And if u want to go down South Goa, then head to Patnem & Palolem beaches, they are awesome...again guesthouses are easily available in the range of 500-600/- (off-season rates shud not be more than 300-400)

Cheers,
Porus
