| Has anyone taken a mobile phone to Cuba...?
Did it work? I have heard a bizarre rumour about people getting into networks and making calls at the travellers' expense...?  prob an urban myth I know, but better safe than sorry. |

| Yes I took mine and it worked without any problems. It's quite expensive, I think at least £1/minute to receive a call from England, but mine and those of my two friends worked. I never heard those sorts of rumours, doesn't mean it doesn't happen but I didn't have any problems. Hope you have or had a good trip. | |
