10 month trip start in Rio in Oct - two females + 3 nights - where to stay? |

| Hi People!
Any help please... Where would be the best play to stay in Rio in October? We don't want to stay anywhere dodgy and get robbed seen as we have the rest of our trip to do! Heard Salvador is not the best place... Thanks Cassie and Claire x |

| My favourite place in Rio was close to Copacabana beach. It's called Stone of a Beach. http://www.stoneofabeach.com.br/ My favourite part was the included buffet breakfast! There is airport pickup, storage, free internet, a pool, kitchen, roof top bar, air con, big screen tv room with movies, tours, fun helpful informative staff, close to restaurants etc, surf and capoeira lessons, van transfer to Ipanema beach, 24 hour security, and its a short walk to the beach. The prices were good and the hostel was clean.
Another hostel I liked were the Che Lagarto hostels. Also decent locations and prices, etc. http://www.chelagarto.com/ Goog luck, have fun! |

| I stayed in Stone of a Beach too, and it was the best place ever. Its not that cheap but its really well located and its a very friendly hostel which is perfect for the start of a long trip! Say hello to the bloke who works there called Pedro if you do go. | |

hey i can defff recommend stone of a beach lovely hostel friendly staff  if you go to stone of a beach say hi to vinnie and fabio for me say monique says hi .
if you want a quiter hostel che lagato was good but not soo much of a party atmosphere there i found + smaller hostel not as manny people to meet xxxxx |

| Hey thanks all for replies will def try book into stone of a beach hostel and maybe the other one for peru! feel much better now...was getting a lil worried where to stay nice to know peps have stayed b4 and they are good! cant wait! happy travels everyone! |
