Hello, I'm planning on a short 3 week trip to Belize and Guatemala at the end of January 09 and I have a few questions. This is gonna be my first backpacking adventure and I'm a little nervous and I don"t quite know everything. I was looking at a more planned out trip, going to Belize city first, then to Caye Caulker, from there to San Ignacio, and then head out to Tikal in Guatemala and end the trip with a visit around Flores. Now i was wondering if i need anything special to cross into Guatemala.. Maybe any advices on what to do along the way, places to stay and such. If anyone has done this kind of trip before I would take any info they can give me. And if anyone is gonna be around there at the same time and wants to meet up for a drink or anything let me know. Its my first trip, so a traveling buddy for a little bit is very welcomed. Thanks
