Seoul is AWESOME! A really truly fantastic place. I stayed in a hostel called 'Open Guesthouse' and it's great. Danny, the owner is really helpful and it is really close to the subway so you can go anywhere.

There is tons to do in Seoul, from wandering around the food markets, to shopping, checking out museums and palaces or just chilling in the many parks.

I spent a week there over the summer (and a week in Busan too) and crammed loads in. Check out the Seoul tourism website (google it) for inspiration on what to do. You'll have a great time.

P.S. Learn how to say thank you in Korean - Kam-sa-ham-nida - for a smile
