Cairns good place for a twenty something to live? |

| Hey,
I'm heading to Australia sometime in December or January for 4+ months. I'm tempted to set up shop in Cairns because I'm a Fly Fishing nut, but I don't feel like I know enough about life in Australia to make that decision on my own. Are there a lot of young people living up there? I like to go out a lot, so if there's no one to party with I'll be kinda bummd. More importantly, could one find a job waiting tables or bar tending? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks! P |

| Cairns is the BEST place to meet people in early twentie, actually anywhere in australia is but Cairns seems to be all about partying. Get yourself to the gilligans hostel for a few nights and you'll immediatly have about 50 new friends!!! there are loads of bars and resturants so sure you'll be fine!! im jealous! | |
