| Righto, I know this should be in the Africa forums, but they're a little slow, and I figured some of you mightbe going there / know people going there anyway.
Basically, just got back from Kenya and Zanzibar, Tanzania. We made a bit of a mistake by withdrawing too much cash in Zanzibar (there's only one place you can get cash, and it was over an hour away from where we were staying, so got a lump sum). We then made a second mistake of not exchanging it at the offices at the airport. Didn't realise that nowhere in England changes it and you can actually only do it on the borders of tanzania / at the airports, which basically SUCKS because we have about £150 woth of shillings. SO...if any of you are going to Tanzania, or know anyone who is, and would like to help a fellow traveller out, we'll knock a bit of money off it. And would really appreciate it. Thanks! Roz xx |
