 Road Trip?

Me and my friend are considering buying/renting a car to travel around the USA for 2-3 months from May 2010 but are unsure on our options.

I have heard about something called a relocation agreement you can do with car hire companies that brings the cost of car hire down, however we are both under 25. Would it just be worth us buying a car to travel in? Or maybe just stick to public transport? We are pretty clueless when it comes to cars.... so any advice would be fab

Thanks!

Check out http://www.autodriveaway.com/

You relocate someones car and all you pay for is petrol. However you can't choose your destination you just gotta take what cars are going near where you want to go. You also don't have unlimited time with the car as people are waiting for their cars.
