so, im currently travelling through asia and my girlfriend will be meeting me in bangkok over xmas and new years for 18 days... all i wanna do is laze around on beaches

can anyone suggest an itinerary? i've never been to thailand before...

i dont wanna spend the whole time travelling around so just a few places will be enough, and i wouldnt mind some laid back quiet places too if possible

any help would be great!! thanks in advance D

Try Ko Lanta, mate. Go south on the island for the quieter stretches of beach. Best sunsets in Thailand.

East coast is wet over Xmas and new year, so if you want the best chance of good weather, stay on the west coast.

cheers mate... a quick search shows there are two islands that make up Ko Lanta... Yai and Noi... which one?

also you know anywhere else?... i was gonna head to Koh Tao, Samui and Phangan but i figure that aint anywhere to 'get away from it all'
