 FIJI help

Basically me and my partner have added in a trip to fiji into our plans, and without stretching the budget to far, we reckon we could have about £500 for our time in Fiji (We are there for 2 weeks) is this enough? as we plan to relax in this time, and do some activities/go on a few nights out. Would you recommend more or less? and any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Hiya, I had the same question but no-one really knew!
Depends what you are doing really, if u are staing on the mainland yeah 500 is loads, its roughlyb £15 a night for a hostel on the mainland....but if ur goin off doin the island hopping (yasawa + mamanuca islands) then a little more will be needed, is it 500 between ye or each?

Im doing 2weeks in fiji in july and im going doin the island hopping the pass for 14days is £100 and your free to hop up and down a chain of about 40 coral islands.
Im visiting--
Beachcomber Island: £32 per night
Waya island: £30 per night
Nacula Island: £20 per night
Taweva Island: £20 per night
Naviti Island: £24 per night
South sea island: £30 per night

These prices include 3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. which are compulsory because there are no resturants, shops etc on the islands its just the resorts.so they have these food plans.

I hope this helps or gives u and idea of how much u need. Im bringin about 700-750 I think. Still researching!

once you have bought your accomodation pass i'd say around $30-$40 a day is plenty! there is not much to buy on the islands apart from small hand made souvenirs or alcohol, some islands do some little snorkelling trips for around $15

Cant remember the names of the islands but i stayed at the following resorts:

beachcomber - party island if there is a big group of you, makesure you prepay for all your drinks at happy hour
coral view - good if you fancy going diving
sunrise lagoon - had such a good time here, the staff are always up to keeping you entertained!
Kuata - really nice beach, definitely go snorkelling with the reef sharks! not to be missed! (around $10)
White sandy beach - my most boring place, staff not much fun plus the weather wasnt great

I'm due to Fiji in August for 1 week..

Travel agent told me to expect some food/drink to be more expensive here.. so I'm budgeting a little extra just to be on safe side... Make sense cause if ye want a Budweiser heck there in the middle of the pacific - your going to pay for it...!

Accommodation/Island tours vary but can start very cheap.. BeachHouse Resort is a great find - really cheap and heck was the setting or celebrity love island so I'm definitely looking forward to the stopover there..!
