How many islands...? |

| Hi,
I'm going to Fiji for 3 weeks in October and getting the 21 day Bula Pass - does anybody know how many different islands there are to stay on? Cheers, Sarah |

You are allowed one hop per day around the Yasawas and the other island group, can't remember the name (Mamanucas??). Out of the 20 islands, there are 12 islands that you can stay on (i.e. only 12 have accomodation on them). So if you have a 21 day pass you can stay on 12 different islands. Also, you can't just rack up and ask for a room, it has to be booked before you get there. The Bula Pass was very pricey at the time i was there but at the moment, reading reports in the fiji times, their hotels across fiji are running at 22% occupancy rate compared to 66% 2 years ago which is totally unsustainable and it does look like the price is cheaper on that pass, and the hotels are probably a lot cheaper too! |
