My trip is, Africa, Oz, Nz and Thailand but im going all that way and alot of my friends have gone to Fiji and enjoyed it am i going to regret not going?

I may not have the funds to go to Fiji as well. Is it expensive out there? Would it be something i could book whilst in Nz and slot in? Is it somewhere i really shouldnt miss?

I'd say it depends what you're after. I spent 3 weeks in Fiji (a bit much in hindsight) and I really enjoyed it but it wasn't one of my favourite places I've every been, on some of the remote islands I got a bit bored of just lying around. I much preferred the party scene, the beaches and the culture in Asia so I wouldn't say it's the end of the world if you don't make it. Others might disagree though!

I would recommend going I was there for 16 days on my trip to OZ and loved it... I spend 2 weeks on the islands. We managed to get 7 islands in, and they were all very different. I spend maybe 700euros that includes, food, accomodation, drink, transport, and boat transfers for 2 weeks. My friend did it on 400pounds, she was there 5 days less than me!

Hiya

Research the flight prices and see where its cheapest to fly from oz or new zealand, sometimes they will have deals on, the bidget airlines out there are
tigerairways (think thats right)
and jetstar(again i think thats right but google them)

It's somewhere id like to visit once im out there as a "break", spend about a week there, i dont think there is too much to do and is quite pricey for the likes of alcohol, and once your off on the islands im told bring your own water or pay a fortune.

If its somewhere you would REALLY like to visit and have the budget for it, then go for it, if you'd rather spend your money elsewhere than save it and do that. It's your trip, do as you please, not what your mates are doing.

Have fun xx

Thanks very much for the tips guys! Like you said Ashleigh i think i'll research the flights see what the prices are like at the moment getting full time work is tricky so my budget might be tight so think i may leave it but if when im out in NZ and decide i have enough may just do it on a limb.

Thanks again guys i have lots to consider
