I am going to Bali for 2 weeks in the middle of my RTW trip and I have just been on the visa company website to see if I need a visa and they are saying that I need a letter from my employer, basically proving I am who I say I am, lol. Does anyone know if this is right??

I am off in October, I am flying from Malaysia before going onto Oz - I can't wait to be honest, it looks bl***y amazing. Did you have to get a letter from your employer then, I have never heard this before, but it is on the visa company website - strange. Thanks for the tip re the receipt.

How long are you staying there for? Any recommendations for when I am there?

you will have to pay 25 US dollars on arrival. Its as simple as that, you shuld then get 30 days free.

Tip for Bali.....avoid Kuta.Unless you like the oz version of magaluf!

ill be there for 3 weeks, then maybe goinig back at xmas
never heard of this letter thingy sounds a bit dodgy!

I actually quite like kuta yeah it is very very touristy but thats good for a few days, id really reccomend going to ubud it is awesome, very hippish, loads of galleries.
but bali is quite diverse, this time round am going to do a bit of hiking in the centre
i find that baliblog is a really good site for all things bali.

xx
