Indonesia recommendations |

| Having done a little research of places to visit in Indonesia the plan at the moment is...
Sumatra > Java (overland) > Bali > Flores (flight) > Heading back west visiting Rinca, Lombok, Gilis. Looking to spend around two months. Am I attempting too much? Any recommendations where to focus most of my time? |

Depends on how much you want to see while you are there, if you have a look at my blog, you will see just how much you can do. http://www.ballofdirt.com/journeys/20704.html About half way down the page. I spent just under 2 months in the country, although did spend 2 weeks on the beach in Bali for Xmas and New Year, what time of the year are you planing on going. I only went from Bali and then overland all the way through Java, and Sumatra to the very north west point of Pulau Weh, all though I took my time and stopped at some places longer than I needed to, it is not very easy to travel as in Sumatra you only can get anywhere by bus. But you will have a great time, am myself planning at some point to go back and go to Lombok, and the other islands to the east at some point. Martin |
