| There isn't any really. You might as well just pop down to Bukit Bintang or Chinatown and stay there. It's only a few minutes in a taxi or on the monorail from Sentral to Bukit Bintang, and it's a much nicer part of town.
Sentral Station's a bit out of the way from backpackery stuff, although still fairly central. Red Palm is superb. Number Eight is just opposite Red Palm, in case it's full. These are they: Red Palm Number Eight A cheapie option is also on the same road as those two: Green Hut It's definitely worth booking a bed up-front. They all get pretty busy. |

Take the airport shuttle buses to KL Sentral station and then hop on the monorail to Bukit Bintang. It's easy and cheap. Air Asia and a few others run the cheap shuttle buses to town. Can take a while, because the airport's over 70km out of town. |

| It will be 1am ish is the monorail still running at that time if so would it be safe? I was thinking a taxi but are they expensive? | |

| Hi,
I was wondering about the monorail also as my flight gets in to Kuala Lumpur at about midnight but I obviously will have to pick up baggage etc. So, will they still run then or is it better to just get a taxi? Thanks |
