i don't have a degree and i have got a chance to teach in china it will only be at high school level but i don't mind. its kinda simple all companies ask for a degree but when you e-mail them and say you don't have one in most case's thats not a problem they will find a placement that they feel that wont mind having someone without a degree. there are some down sides to not having a degree most jobs that you will get will only be for 3 months at 1st if they feel your any good you should get to stay longer. you will get payed less but that understandable because your not qualified i personal would go to

www.oral-english.org they were fast and helpful in sorting my placement and i was able to talk to someone over msn and skype. i would go to there website and send them a e-mail with your CV and a photo, i sent a copy of my passport.

if you dont mind when you go next year i you can start teaching in china at the end of February. i will be in Beijing on the 15th Feb.

please feel free to contact me for any info.

what ever you do DO NOT PAY A COMPANY TO TEACH waste of money and get your tefl its a great foot in the door and most companies will have contacts in most of asia where you can seek employment.

if you live in scotland you can get your tefl payed by the Scottish government for free. pm for more info

thanks
alan
