hey guys just after some help! im in phnom penh at the moment and would love to get to Laos as soon as possible. i wouldn't mind having to go through Vientiane, ultimately I am wanting to get to Vang Vieng!! There is a bus that goes from here in the morning and gets to the Cambodia/Laos border at night, I found out that I need a visa prior to getting to the border (didnt realise that) so I'm no longer leaving tomorrow on that bus, also I wasn't sure about the idea of getting there in the dark and where to go from there. Is anyone able to tell me the best/quickest way to go about all this? Am I better off staying a night somewhere on the way and if so where would be best? Some people have mentioned it could be ok going through another border but I'm assuming thats alot more stuffing around. Thanks heaps for any replies! - Samara
