HOW AMAZING IS GHANA |

| im deciding whether to volunteer in thailand, india or ghana this summer. Can somebody tell me how great ghana is and why... or why not... I just want some ideas of people experiences there. im very interested in the landscape/culture aspect, and volunteering with the poor aspect. Thanks! | |

Definitely Ghana!Although I'm thinking of doing some volunteer work in vietnam at the end of the summer. I've come to opinion that most of Thailand is just overwhelmed with travellers! If you read more on this board you'll see that no-one has a bad thing to say about Ghana. The people are the friendliest you can come across and the children you work with are amazing. I went with GAP Sports last April for 3 months. Best time of my life. You have the opportunity to travel the country and take in the waterfalls,rainforests, idyllic beaches and the elephants at the national park. Basically the scenery is brilliant and totally unspoilt. The capital, where most projects seem to be set up is a vibrant city, full of markets with bargains and also lots of crap you'd never buy! |

| I've only been to Accra and from what I saw there I would definatly reccommend Ghana. | |
