Ghana- June 2007- Cholera vaccine- is it needed??? |

| Hi everyone, first of all, im going to ghana on 6th June for 5 weeks and will be teaching english, Im goin with travellers and would have gone for longer but have to be back to start work for the next 40 years! anyone else goin around that time?
Secondly, can anyone tell me if it necessary to get the cholera vaccine, i have heard mixed views on it and my doctor was little help, has anyone else who has been had this? thanks for your help! Dave |

| hello, im going to Ghana on the 6th July to teach as well. staying in ghana for 8 weeks then going off for two months in africa after that before continuing my RTW. Im not going to get that injection but i have been advised to. its one that is not a necessity but there is always that small chance. I'm only not having it because im going to have the homeopathic (natural) equivalent. my friend is going to have it though. where are you going to be in ghana? | |
