Hi,

I'm going to Cancun for 10 days from Aug 31st to Sep 10. Can anyone let me know what the weather is like that time of year? Also being a keen drinker, what are the best bars/clubs to go to?

Cheers

Cancún, Mexico

Month
September

Avg High
89°F (31°C)

Avg Low
76°F (24°C)

Average
83°F (28°C)

In the last two decades Cancún has grown from a tiny jungle village into one of the world's best-known holiday resorts. The Mexican government sunk vast sums into landscaping and infrastructure, yielding straight, well-paved roads, drinkable tap water and great swaths of sandy beach.

paaaaaal!! Cancun is amazing.

I went for Spring Break... defo a good place to party.

The City and Coco Bongos are the biggest clubs and both awesome but my fave was Club Basic... its based on stilts above the lagoon. They have an amazing water party where water comes from the floor, ceiling, walls....everywhere. completely mental. All the big clubs are about $40-$50 entry but then free drinks. You have to tip about USD$1 when you get each drink from the bar or u never get served... waiters differ.... some will tell u how much they want others will just not come back if u dont give them enough.

defo recommend the beach front club down the side of The City.... we went to an mtv beach party and saw quite a few famous people

Same here! Basic was brilliant! I also really enjoyed Bulldogs. If you got to Senor Frogs, make sure you go down the slide, I did it twice! But it's only really a starting place because it empties out at about 1. I went in May, had a fantastic time! BTW if you get cabs home, barter with them but I would recommend buses. Only a dollar or 7 pesos and very quick and reliable!

So jealous!
