I will be in Peru from 13th-26th Jan and i booked an Inca trail tour with STA right bang in the middle of my time in Peru, so i have 3 days either side of the tour to explore other places. is it possible for me to see ica, nazca, colca canyon, lake titicaca? has anyone done this? and is it easy to get between these places? or are there any other places i should try and get to in such a small amount of time!?
thanks

hey, iv been to peru and loved it sooo much, well you can get a bus from cuzco to puno (lake titikaka) takes 8 hours overnigt, wen you get to puno in the morning, its pretty cold lol and you get tour guides haselling you to do a day island tour of the reed islands and tranquil island, just barter and do it, hostels in puno are cheap, usually the guides have the hostel included aswell, usually 3 pounds a night, i think colca canyon takes a little longer to get to then puno but go for it, its amazing too, good luck

You don't need very long to do Nazca. I arrived on an overnight bus from Arequipa at about 7.30am and had done a flight booked to go see the lines for 9.00. I then hung around for the rest of the day and left the following day to Lima but I'm sure you'd be able to head off the same day if needed.
