Hi everyone! I'm arriving at Quito airport at 20.20 on 27th July, and wondered if anyone can give me some info about taxis before i get there? This is really the only part of my trip i'm worried about, but I'm pretty scared that i'll end up getting mugged or something in the taxi on the way to my hostel!
I've heard that in Lima airport there are people around to help you and order you a licensed taxi, and that you should NOT just get in one outside the airport. Is this the same in Quito? I speak almost no Spanish (although i'm trying to learn fast!) so if anyone could tell me how to say "Please can I go to Hotel Mercadillo" that would be very helpful!!!
