Hey guys! My names Claire and im flying out to Quito on the 20th February to start my Ecuadorian travel experience. For 2 weeks im going to be learning Spanish in Banos and then i am vounteering as a classroom assistant for 6 weeks close by. Is anyone going to be around there at that time?? Can you give me an advice about what to do to get the best experience there?? After my teaching at the end of April i will have to weeks of my own travel in Ecudor before i go off to the Galapagos. Is anyone avaliable then and interested in meeting me, as i do not know if i will have met anyone to travel with yet and im on my own. I am them going off to a conservation project in the Galapagos. After the 3 weeks there i am not sure if i should stay there for a bit longer or go back to Ecuador??? Has anyone been and do you have any advice for me??
It would be great if people could get in touch

Hi girl!

Welcome to Ecuador i just read ur post and i'll give u some ideas about ecuador.

At this time ur spanish is so good so u can easily go all around the counrtry. IF u're interested u can check this site out.. www.couchsurfing.com, it's the best idea ever for travellers all around the world! Inthis site u might find groups of differents cities, gathering, free couch and lots of fun. It's very realiable, i'll start my trip trought SA in may and i'll do it all this way couchsurfing. I'll start doing Ecaudor first in late April so it'd b nice to meet u down the road.

About the Galapagos, even for us, ecuadorian people, we can only stay for 30 days! too bad but u know.. i think it's enough to understand the natural beauty of that place.

Hope u find this info useful for ur adventure here..

Good luck

Erika xx
