Japan : Tokyo last week of June '09...Places to go out during the weekend?? |

| I'm going to be flying into Narita on Tuesday and flying out the following Monday. Plan on visiting Okinawa if I can get a free military flight for a day or two, then plan on tackling Mt Fuji for a day into the next morning. I'd like to visit some historical spots but don't know if a trip to Kyoto is possible. I'd like to spend the weekends in Tokyo for the night life. Anyone know any good places to go out in Tokyo? Night clubs and bars? | |

| roppongi is a good place to go for drinking but some places are japanese only,gay!
There are rumours going round at the annex hostel in asakusa that there is a restaraunt where you get served by monkeys! |

| The monkey place exists, I've seen it on TV. Don't know where it is though.
I've always disliked Roppongi at night, it's pretty overpriced and the atmosphere is actually a bit intimidating which is completely the opposite of going out most other places in Japan. Give it a try but make sure you try a few other areas as well. |

Give it a try but make sure you try a few other areas as well. its actually a train ride to the outskirts of tokyo, we know it exists but the twats who knew where it was wouldnt tell us because they didnt want it in the Lonely Planet. So they were followed.haha |
